Starfish Education Discusses Systemic Learning Loss

Dr. Nanthaporn “Prae” Seributra, CEO of Starfish Education, attended a meeting entitled “Let’s Go Together To the Samut Sakhon Model – Model provinces for reducing inequality and revitalizing learning for all children” on December 4th, 2021.

The meeting was organized by the Samut Sakhon Provincial Government, the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and UNICEF Thailand. Participants included Mr. Narong Rakroi, Governor of Samut Sakhon, Mr. Arkhom Sansilp of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Rangsan Wiboonuppatham of UNICEF Thailand, Ms. Thanthida Wonprasong, EEF’s Director of Innovation and Scholarships, and Dr. Weerachart Kilenthong, Director of the Research Institute for Policy Evaluation and Design (RIPED).

In addition to the other topics shared during the meeting. Dr. Prae also presented on guidelines for educational institutions to eliminate systemic learning loss, and on additional context from a pilot research project in the Samut Sakhon area.
